Vegas recap

Overdue on my Halloween trip to Vegas recap..but I figure better late then never.

Friday 29th
We landed at about midnight. Tony, the ever gracious host, came to pick up Elena, Nalin, Mary and I at the airport. We went back to Tony's to chill for a bit and met up with Sean, Amy and Andy. First stop... Sunset Station casino. This place was cool...off the strip, more for locals and Tony said it had some pretty fun poker action. We got there around 12:30 am and 4 of us (Tony, Andy, Nalin, Sean, Myself) all sat and played at different tables. It was pretty good...went on a couple of good runs and was up around $100. The funniest part of the night was around 3 am, as the casino was dying down they started consolidating tables. Next thing you know, all 4 of us are playing at the same table. It was like Rounders...not that all of us are rock star poker players, but as we start playing together, it seemed like every pot was won by one of us. A player would sit..and lose their money to one of us...and that just went on for a while. At the end of the night, not a single one of us lost any money. We kind of just spread the money from the rest of the table around...

Saturday
Sat was cool...we went for a bbq at Sean and Amy's phat-phat place. They were awesome hosts and they do bbq right. Now the "real" vegas weekend was about to start. Tony took us out to a show at the Bellagio. We saw "O" and it was bloody amazing. I have always kind of thought that Vegas shows were cheesy..but this was....just... mind boggling. It was seriously the most visually stimualted I have ever been in my life.

After the show we went to Tabu in the MGM Grand. We had bottle service here...and the service was just mind blowing. Tabu is a sweet venue and our server Natalia was the star of the show :) We ended up splitting 6 bottles (that's right...BOTTLES) of vodka, tequilla and gin between around 12 of us. Needless to say..we were lit up. Nalin was the first one to lose it (and be escorted out) and Andy was soon to follow. These guys were actually knocked out...before MIDNIGHT!! hahahhaa

Sunday
I just have one faint memory of this Sunday. For some reason, all weekend Andy was talking about going to In N Out to eat a 100/100. For those who don't know, In'N'Out has a real simple menu. You can go and order a Double/Double and that means 2 patties and 2 slices of cheese. It's a little known fact though that you can order whatever combination you want (triple/triple, quadruple/quadruple, etc). What do we end up doing? We order a fucking 100/100. Between 8 of us!! I'm proud and slightly disgusted to say we finished it. Pics here!!
